BYCAST LEATHER

What is Bycast leather?

In order to make bycast leather, the raw hide is split into different layers, with the top grain removed.
It is natural, real leather, with a film layer of polyurethane apllied on the surface, which makes the hide strong and helps it last longer.

The texture of bycast makes it easier to clean and maintain.
Bicast might have a chemical smell that goes away after a little.
You can find pretty much every color in bycast leathers. That means you have plenty of choices.

Bycast is not very resilient, so it might crack in some spots.
It is a cheap type of leather and it might be more afordable.

It is used for making leather bags, leather shoes, belts, wallets, handmade leather goods and many other types of leather design.
